An architecture and interior design practice founded in Kerala. Today we work from two studios, one in the hills and one in Karnataka, on residential, hospitality and commercial projects across South India.
Kerala's mix of plantation estates, hill climate and a deeply skilled local workforce taught us how to build with stone, timber and tile, in a way that lasts through five-month monsoons.
Karnataka, working in apartments, gated villas and offices, forced us to learn space planning, modular joinery and turnkey execution at city speed. Many of our clients move between the two: a Karnataka family with a holiday plot in Kerala, an NRI couple building in Kerala while renting in Karnataka, a hospitality investor planning a homestay in Kerala from their home in Karnataka. A studio that already lives in both places saves them a great deal of friction.
Every project is led by a named architect or designer from the first meeting to handover. We do our own joinery and finishing through a long-standing roster of artisans, and we run our own site teams rather than sub-letting to general contractors.
